The museum begins on the 47th floor of the tower and extends across the last four floors of the tower, directly behind the huge clock face.
Below the base of the clock is the terrace overlooking Mecca and the Grand Mosque, which provides you with a safe and easy view of the entire area from a height of up to 480 meters. Telescopes are available for viewing.
First floor
This floor showcases the story of the creation of the Makkah Clock, its technical features, and the precise systems that make it a reference for Islamic timekeeping. It explains the clock's role in observing the new moon and determining the beginnings of the Islamic months, particularly Ramadan and Dhul-Hijjah, and introduces visitors to the design of the world's largest clock and the mechanisms that operate it with remarkable accuracy.
Second floor
Visitors are taken on a historical journey showcasing humanity's efforts over thousands of years to understand and measure time, from water clocks and pendulums to pocket watches and modern systems. The floor also explains the relationship between the movements of the sun, earth, and moon in determining the calendar, the direction of Mecca, and prayer times.
Third floor
This floor focuses on the sun, earth, and moon, and their roles in regulating human life and understanding time. It covers astronomical topics such as eclipses, solar activity and storms, the Earth's atmosphere, the phases of the moon, and observing the new moon using advanced telescope systems around the world.
Fourth floor
The focus here is on the vast universe, including its stars, galaxies, and planets. It showcases the shapes and diversity of galaxies, their movements and collisions, and the resulting astronomical phenomena, extending to the expansion of the universe. The floor also highlights the center's contributions and scientific partnerships in the field of space exploration.
Fifth floor (observation platform and clock tower balcony)

Ticket categories for entry to the Clock Tower Museum:
The children's ticket category applies to ages 4 to 12 years . Children over 12 years old require the same ticket as adults. Entry is free only if the child is under 4 years old.
Terrace tickets only : Tickets specifically for entry to the panoramic terrace overlooking the Holy Mosque in Mecca for 20 minutes.

The deck features a secure design and metal mesh to ensure a comfortable and safe viewing experience for all, while also allowing for photography with mobile phones or specialized cameras. Telescopes are also available, giving visitors the opportunity to observe even the finest details, such as the Kaaba's covering and the circumambulation area.
This ticket costs 150 riyals for adults and 100 riyals for children , and includes:

Ramadan working hours
• Saturday - Thursday: Morning period 11 am to 4 pm, Evening period 9 pm to 2 am.
• Friday: Morning period 10 am to 3 pm, Evening period 9 pm to 2 am.

Museum location and ascending to the top of the clock tower
The entrance is located opposite the southern gate of the Grand Mosque. Visitors should enter through the main entrance of the Clock Towers and the commercial market, then inquire about the museum or proceed directly to the elevator area on the ground floor and request access to floor P9. Upon reaching floor P9, immediately after exiting the elevator, visitors should follow the directional signs until they reach the museum entrance and present the ticket sent to them by the customer service tourism team.
• The museum does not allow the entry of large bags (such as suitcases) or food and drinks.
The Tourism Site is an officially licensed outlet for selling all categories of Clock Tower tickets through official partnership agreements with the Museum and Terrace Operations Management.
